Short biography

Kawther Taibouni is an associate professor at ESME engineering school since 2O26. She worked as a part-time Lecturer at ESME in Artificial intelligence from 2025 to 2O26. She received a PhD degree in signal, image and automatic from the Paris Est Créteil University in 2022. Her research lies on artificial intelligence (AI) applied to medical image analysis with a particular interest in AI-assisted diagnosis. Her work has notably focused on the application of deep learning to aid in the diagnosis of retinal diseases. She is also interested in the reliability and credibility of AI models, particularly through uncertainty quantification, aiming to develop more reliable and robust diagnostic support systems.
