An ESME student in the Biotech & Digital major has co-authored a scientific publication as part of their internship with ICAN and Saint-Antoine Hospital (AP-HP).
The paper, “Refining the phenotype of patients with atrial fibrillation and spontaneous restoration of sinus rhythm,” explores why some patients with atrial fibrillation naturally return to a normal heart rhythm. The study shows that these patients have healthier heart structure and function, lower inflammation, and a more favorable metabolic profile.
